The following is a short description of my personal background information.
I have graduated elementary, secondary and high school from “The Capital’s Model Institute” school.
I graduated with a bachelor of science in medical lab sciences from the college of medicine and allied health sciences in King Abdulaziz University in 1984. This batch of graduates was the first batch of Medical Lab Technologists in the Kingdom
I graduated with a master’s of Science in Medical Technology Education from the University of Kentucky, USA in 1988
I graduated with a Ph D in Hematology from the College of Medicine, University of Wales, United Kingdom in 2000
Immediately after arrival from Wales, I had the honor of joining my faculty, the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences as a Hematology assistant professor in the department of Medical Lab Sciences.
Currently, I am the coordinator for Hematology I and II in the department of Medical Lab Sciences. Also the Head of the academic tables and schedules in the faculty and the supervisor of the progress and follow up of the Courses Protfolios within the department.
From 2004 to 2008, I was responsible about the social activities within the faculty as the leader of the Social Activities committee.
